Tom Sachs is known for his elaborate recreations of various Modern icons, sampling capitalist culture, remixing, dubbing and spitting it back out again, so that the results are transformed and transforming. The New Bedford Watch has been handmade in the artist’s studio in New York. It wraps twice around the wrist, like the Hermés double-tour watches.
