Sargassa’s ring , 2025
18 kt yellow gold ring
Edition 1 of 10

The work draws inspiration from Sargassum, the floating brown seaweed found in the warm waters of the Atlantic and along the shores of Florida. Carried by currents and shaped by time, Sargassum embodies a transient yet persistent presence—at once organic, fragile, and enduring.
Echoing this natural process, the ring evokes a form shaped by erosion, where time has worn away the surface to reveal a porous inner structure. The piece reflects a lifelong exploration of material and form, embracing both the polished exterior and the hidden architecture within. Like Sargassum drifting between states, it exists between solidity and dissolution, permanence and transformation.
