Juliana Borinski

Juliana Borinski (Brazilian-German, b.1979) is a Paris-based contemporary artist, who tends to work with moving and still images in the field of experimental photography, videography and media installation experimenting the conjunction between iconography and iconoclasm.

Borinski completed her MFA in media art at the Academy of Media Art Cologne, where she studied with Jürgen Klauke, Valie Export, Julia Scher and Siegfried Zielinski.

Her work has been exhibited international in gallery such as Fondation d’enterprise Ricard in Paris 2013 (FR), Gallery Beton 7, Athens 2012 (GR), NIMk, Amsterdam 2012 (NL), Muhka, Antwerp 2011 (BE), Paço das Artes, São Paulo 2007 (BR) and TENT Rotterdam 2007 (NL).
